MINISTRIES

Ministers of the Eucharist:

Distribute Communion at liturgies and to the hospitalized, sick
and homebound. EME's are required to attend a training session
offered by the Archdiocese to prepare for this ministry and are
mandated by the Archbishop.

Lectors:

Proclaim the Scripture readings at Sunday and Holy Day liturgies.
Lectors are required to attend a training session offered by the
Archdiocese and are mandated by the Archbishop.

Musicians:

Provide music for weekend liturgies, funerals and special

Greeters:

Greet and welcome parishioners as they come to celebrate the
liturgy.

Ushers:

Welcome parishioners as they come to celebrate liturgy, help them

Ministers of the Altar:

Boys and girls in the 5^th, 6^th,7 ^th, and 8^th
grade assist at the altar during the celebration of the Eucharist and
other liturgical services.

Funeral Ministers:

Adult men serve as ministers of the altar at funeral liturgies.
