St. Isidore Catholic Church and Grade School.

Welcome to St.
Isidore Parish! We are an active faith community striving to live out
the call of the Gospel to proclaim God's love to all. We hope that we
can help you grow in your love for Jesus and invite and encourage you
to become actively involved in our parish in ways that are helpful to
your personal growth in holiness and in service to others.

Dress code in place for those serving in Mass liturgical roles

Appropriate dress is now required for those serving in a liturgical ministry during Mass at St. Isidore.

All musicians, servers, ushers, greeters, readers of the word and extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion are no longer allowed to wear jeans, shorts and sandals that are not designed to keep the shoe on the heel of the foot (this includes dress sandals with strap(s) only across the front/top of the foot). A heel or ankle strap is recommended.

If you are dressed inappropriately, you may be asked to sit with the congregation rather than serve.

Couples sought to share in marriage preparation ministry

The Archdiocese of Omaha Remarriage Preparation Classes are now available in Columbus twice a year, and facilitators are looking for couples to give talks. Tony and Laurie Hergott, facilitators, are one of four current talk team couples and are looking to add to the team. Two-day sessions are offered in February and August at the St. Isidore Convent (NOTE: A minimum of five couples must be registered for the classes to be held). If you are in a remarriage for more than a year, have participated in these classes, and the Holy Spirit moves you to share your stories and wisdom with other couples
